We’re taking a behind the scenes tour of Porto’s in Buena Park. What started out as a small location in Echo Park 43 years ago has now grown to 5 bustling locations. There’s never a time of day where there isn’t a line at any of the bakeries. The Buena Park store is the newest location. It’s a ginormous modern space with lots of natural light and a patio that runs the length of the restaurant. I love going behind the scenes and getting a glimpse of what goes on that no one really ever sees. It’s fascinating to me to see these gorgeous display cases filled with the best tasting and smelling savory and sweet bites and only 6 feet away behind a wall are dozens of folks mixing, baking, creating and decorating.
Another addition to Porto’s is the Portos Bake At Home Line which has been available for about 9 months now.
