Downtown L.A.’s preeminent Southern house is hosting the perfect Halloween Brunch fit for His Dudeness as Preux & Proper Owner and Partner Josh Kopel has teamed up with Partner and Executive Chef Sammy Monsour and Beverage Director Kassady Wiggins to present Preux & Proper’s 2nd Annual Big Lebowski Halloween Brunch that will succeed your highest dreams with themed drinks, delectable dishes, a lotta ins, a lotta outs, and lotta what-have-yous for all the die-hard Dudes, Dudettes and Duderinos out there.
No Big Lebowski party is complete without a White Russian, or three, so start the celebration off with a One Hell of A Caucasian White Russian Frozen Daiquiri made with Tito’s Vodka and St. George Nola Coffee Liqueur. Guests who come Dressed in Costume inspired by the film will also enjoy a COMPLIMENTARY One Hell Of A Caucasian just for joining in the fun! If one partys too hard on Saturday and needs a bit of a pick-me-up on Sunday, they can start the day by Enjoying My Coffee, which is comprised of Knob Creek Bourbon, cold brew coffee, Stoneground Mexican Chocolate, cream and Miracle Milk Orange Bitters. Let your inner-cowboy come out to play with the Good Sarsaparilla cocktail, made with cardamom and clove-infused Tito’s Vodka, vanilla bean and ginger sassafras simple syrup. Monsour will be preparing dudealicious dishes that speak to The Dude’s inner joint smoking, robe wearing, bowler all day long. El Duderino’s can order the “I Told That Kraut A Thousand Fucking Times I Don’t Roll On Shabbos” House Andouille Nachos made with two-day kraut, Thousand Island dressing, gruyère, toasted caraway and pickled mustards seeds. If you like In-N-Out as much as Donny does, indulge on Monsour’s “Those Are Good Burgers, Walter” Burger; an In-N-Out style Double-Double made with Strauss organic grass-fed beef patties and P&P’s own filthy animal style dress on a buttered brioche bun. Walter is the man to call if you a need a toe, but if all you need is a delicious Po’ Boy dressed with jalapeño and lime crema, Thai basil, cucumber, mint, cilantro, and pig trotter terrine, definitely try the “I Can Get You A Toe” BBQ Fried Chicken Bánh Mi.
