I was thrilled when asked by the creators of Paper Bag Daily to be featured in their weekly “Creator Feature.” The publication is semi-weekly and highlights stories about women in all industries and facets of business that invoke change. I’m a true believer that we’re stronger together and we can accomplish more together. We have one life to do with whatever we want. Let’s make the best of it and live each day like it’s our last. I hope you enjoy the Q&A.

Where did your passion for food start?
I spent a lot of time in the kitchen learning recipes with my mom and became fascinated about the Vietnamese culture and food. I wanted to explore more than what she could teach me so I created EatinAsian to connect with other people that were biracial like me and wanted to learn more about the Asian culture. Whether it be recipes, crazy things Asians do, etc.
EatinAsian really combines two passions of yours. Writing and Cooking. You actually started out as a writer.
I have a BA in Communications. When I moved to LA I started writing, producing and hosting content for Perfect Business and Entrepreneur Magazine. I fell even more in love with creating content. That position gave me the push to continue to develop what I love doing so much. I started creating content in the form of infographics, my blog, curating content for others, etc. It was on business though not food but it didn’t matter, I was creating content.
