When asked to participate in a staycation at the Hyatt Regency near LAX I was intrigued because my experience with LAX is to either drop off or pick up not really linger in the area. The Hyatt Regency has undergone a major renovation and when I say major I mean millions of dollars major. I quickly learned this hotel has all the makings of a weekend getaway destination.

We (food and lifestyle bloggers/writers) got a behind the scenes look at all the mid century modern upgrades, presidential suites and dined at the brand new Unity LA restaurant and market. We drank and bonded over Greenbar cocktails at the Unity LA bar, took a tour of another ongoing massive renovation at LAX Thomas Bradley terminal and wined and dined at a handful of restaurants that were minutes from the hotel on the beach overlooking the beautiful pacific ocean. I’m so glad I had this opportunity because I can totally see doing all of this again with a group of friends or family and staying at the Hyatt Regency LAX.
