I really like Asian desserts and I’m not saying that just because I’m Asian. The cakes are so light, drinks are so chewy, jellies are so tasty, beans are like sugar, the flavors are so addicting and creative and weird and just……good.
In Alhambra is Crepe Love. These are not American crepes, these are Japanese crepes!!! They are delicate with just the right amount of sugar. I have no idea what the secret recipe is, because co owner Cindy Wan is keeping ancient Japanese secrets, but I can confirm that I didn’t go into a sugar coma after eating an entire crepe loaded with pure goodness. Japanese crepes are light and instead of toppings on the top the toppings are inside and the crepe is rolled, sorta like a hand roll.
The crepes come in plain or green tea flavored. Then you go down the menu and start choosing your fillings, creams and toppings. This is the total package. I mean come on, who doesn’t love condensed milk, lychee ice cream, green tea, fruit, nuts….Ey yi yi!
You’ll have to see (taste) for yourself. Go check em out but first watch the video below :-). Happy Eating! ロサンゼルス
