Ginger Candied Apple Bourbon Drink Recipe

July 27, 2016 by Kimlai Yingling

This cocktail is the perfect answer for a hot summer day. It’s refreshing. It’s crisp. It’s tasty.

Jim Beam

I used Jim Beams new bourbon whiskey flavor, apple and just amp’d up their existing recipe on their site called Ginger Cider by adding a little ginger candy, mint and lime…..and a bit more bourbon ha ha ha.

First you want to crush up some ginger candy using a hand chopper or food processor. You’re going to use it just like you would use salt to rim a glass.

Then take your glass and line the rim with lime and dip into the crushed ginger candy. Then drop in a few mint leaves and muddle em up. Fill the glass up with ice. Now comes the liquid goodness. Add 2 parts (2 ounces) of your favorite ginger ale and 2 parts of Jim Beam’s apple bourbon whiskey. Squeeze in the juice of 1 lime and DRINK! oh, add a straw.

INGREDIENTS:

Lime
Mint Leaves
Hard Ginger Candy
Ginger Ale
Jim Beam Apple Bourbon Whiskey
