LA Weekly’s super popular Brunch at the Races is back this weekend at Santa Anita Park. This is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up and wear that really big fancy polka dot hat that’s been collecting dust in your closet. Okay seriously, the hat is not a requirement but it’s fun to get dressed up. Picture this, thoroughbreds going over 3o mph around the race track as you chow down on delicious bites from LA’s favorite chefs and restaurants and sip on cocktails from award-winning mixologists. TICKET INFO – For $45 bucks you get a full day entry to Santa Anita Park and unlimited food samples. You also get beer, wine and cocktails and access to the artisanal vendor village. For only $20 bucks more ($45+$20=$65) you get moved up to VIP status which includes everything in the general admission package AND exclusive access to the VIP lounge, special cocktails and a VIP bag. Pro bruncher tip….get VIP, you’ll appreciate the lounge on the big day because believe it or not your belly will need a break and also the bag will come in handy because you only have two hands.
