Sweet, tart and cheesy! The flavors in this cheese ball will definitely make your tummy do a happy dance and will become an instant “must-have” appetizer. I used Lady Apples which are the oldest known varietal. They are small in size but big in flavor. Some of the apples are so small they look like cherries and are often mistaken for ornamental apples.
The little lady apples pair really well with the creamy nutty flavor of Gouda cheese and the thick maple syrup ties it all together. You are in for a major flavor surprise.
