Asian Eats in Hells Kitchen

On a Friday afternoon before heading out to do promotional work, my dear friends, DeAnne & Brandi and I decided to spice it up with an EatinAsian inspired lunch.

We navigated our way through 9th Avenue, in the always-busy Hells Kitchen area, to find the perfect restaurant. The daily specials definitely caught our eye as well. Yum Yum Bangkok Thai Restaurant hit the spot for us.

We walked into the cozy & friendly environment and started with a glass of their house wine.  DeAnne & Brandi ordered pad thai combos of shrimp & chicken. I placed my order of the shrimp 7 soup based on a recommendation from DeAnne, who had been to this restaurant several times before. I thought it was safe to follow her lead plus the soup would warm me up before heading back out into the freezing cold. I’m a huge fan of shrimp, and loved the lemongrass and mushroom flavors incorporated in the broth. The wait staff was extremely patient with us and very helpful in describing the flavors of the various dishes offered on the menu. There wasn’t a wait and we were able to get seated immediately.

If you want some Fun Fun & Yum Yum this restaurant is a MUST TRY!
